Keep Your Home Allergy-Free

Your home, as you may not know it, could be a breeding ground of various germs, bacteria and allergens that could trigger the health of your family.

Allergies for example are usually connected with indoor pollution and this can be rooted from dirty surroundings and poor sanitation. When you have a family member who has allergies, it is much more important to sanitize and disinfect your home to avoid allergies.

Here are some steps you can do to keep your home allergen-free:

1. Keep your walls clean from dust and spider webs. Once every four or six months make sure that you wipe your walls with damp cloth.
2. Clean your furniture and mop or vacuum your floor weekly to avoid the accumulation of dust.
3. Do not use carpet for your walls and flooring, as this is a favorite breeding ground of dust mites and pet dander. Carpet must not especially be used in bedrooms of people who have allergies.
4. Wash your bedding regularly.
5. Keep stuffed toys out of bed and keep them away from family members with allergies. Moreover, do not buy these toys for your kids who are susceptible to allergies.
6. Equip your home with air cleaning machines to sanitize the air. If you are using air conditioner. Clean it regularly to keep the filter clean and dust free.
